Tony Morris Q.C. commissioned Simon to create a new version of his setting of the Nunc Dimittis, which had its premiere at the baptism of his and wife Alice Hampson's only daughter Violette. The piece is a collaboration between Simon, William Liehr, and the Brisbane vocal group In The Mood Four. The new arrangement had its debut at St Patrick's Church, Fortitude Valley, on the 15th July 2007. The singers were D'Arne Sleeman (Soprano), Irene Morrison (Alto), Sam Sakker (Tenor), and Michael Strasser (Bass).
